Assembly Layout S-IC Stage, Saturn V
While walking through the stacks during one of my visits to the University of Alabama in Huntsville archives, I spotted an engineering drawing out of the corner of my eye. Upon investigating, I found that it was set of detailed drawings of the Saturn V S-IC stage.
The drawing was an obvious copy, where the original drawing was split over two pieces of paper. Since I only have a standard flatbed scanner, this really didn't matter much, as it was necessary to scan it piecemeal in any case. Upon pasting it together, I found that Sheet 1 of this two-sheet drawing (drawing number 10M04564) was a whopping 55 inches wide!
