Freedom 7 is displayed in a rotunda at the Armel-Leftwich Visitor Center at the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland.

The display area features a back-lit Earth near the spacecraft. Of course, it's not possible to get a single photo where both the nearly-all-black spacecraft and backlit Earth are both properly exposed, so I've combined dsc32418.jpg with another shot of the back-lit earth into a single image, creating a picture more visually representative of the scene.
