The Latin phrase "In Mare, In Coelo" translates to "In the sea, in the sky."

The USS Intrepid, an Essex-class aircraft carrier, was commissioned in 1943, fought in WWII, was modernized multiple times to support jet aircraft, and was the ship which recovered Gemini 3. It became a museum ship after its final decommission. Its Website once had a page dedicated to the Gemini 3 recovery.
