The sign at the right reads

Apollo 11, launched on July 16, 1969, was the first spacecraft to carry astronauts that would land on the moon. While Michael Collins orbited in the command module, Neil A. Armstrong and Edwin E. (Buzz) Aldrin, Jr. made history on July 20 with the first steps on the moon. The two astronauts spent over 21 hours on the moon's surface during this mission and collected nearly 50 points of rock for research purposes.
