Spirit of St. Louis Replica

The EAA constructed a replica of the Spirit of St. Louis in 1977 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Charles Lindbergh's transatlantic flight.

The replica hangs in the museum's Antiques & Classics gallery. Below it is a replica of the city of Paris. The cityscape looks convincing enough, but upon closer inspection one realizes that it is actually built out of Lego bricks!

The original Spirit of St. Louis is located in the National Air & Space Museum.
