This is a view of the starboard side of the plane, facing forward. The wide windows in the center of the picture are located under the wings of the plane, so this is where the bomb bay would have been.

One of the crew members told us that they bolted a "canoe" onto the bottom of the plane to create a floor where the bomb bay would have been.

On the right of the picture is the starboard emergency exit.
