Some sort of bracket on the bottom of the ALSRC.

When I took this photo, I assumed that some sort of straps would be woven through these brackets to stow the box in the lunar and/or command modules, but (at least on later missions) the ALSRCs were placed in Lunar Sample Container Decontamination Bags, so if anything these protuberances would be more likely to cut a hole in the decon bag.
