The skirt section access door.

The markings on the door instruct personnel to "torque 60-85 in. lbs." (presumably the bolts securing the door).

The aft unit had a pressure bulkhead separating the pressurized instrument compartment from the unpressurized skirt section. This door allowed access to the later compartment.
