What may or may not be a connector from another wire bundle peeking up toward the back of the interface panel.

When I took this photo, I assumed it was such a connector, but now that I look closer at it, I'm not so certain. I have verified that it's not the top of a flagpole, and it doesn't appear to be a connector for any of the various tubes on the forward end of the engine which are visible in other photos.
