The pilot's checklist, located to the upper left of the instrument panel.

The checklist is for the P-51H-1, -5, and -10 airplanes equipped with the V-1650-9 engine and contains procedures to be performed before starting the engine, during warm-up, and before take-off. The card is in a plastic sleeve and can be be removed and flipped over for additional procedures.

Below the white pilot's checklist is a black "Engine Limitations" plate for the Packard V-1650-9 engine, containing engine RPMs at various conditions as well as coolant, oil, and fuel pressures and oil temperature limits.
