Overall view of the desk and panelled corner. The sign doesn't actually say that this desk ever belonged to von Braun (and since at least one of his desks was formerly displayed elsewhere at the Rocket Center), one is left to wonder if this is simply a 1960s-era executive-style desk.

When I took this particular photo, this display had recently undergone maintenance and the engineering tools were replaced by a small sign noting "Item temporarily removed by curatorial department."
