Apollo A7L/A7LB LEVA Sun Visor

The exhibit included an Apollo A7L/A7LB-type lunar extravehicular visor assembly sun visor.

This visor was plated with 24-karat gold to protect against ultraviolet and infrared light and to attenuate the otherwise-unfiltered visible light of the sun.
