SR-71

The SR-71 displayed by the Air Zoo is an SR-71B.

Of the 32 SR-71s which were manufactured, two were the SR-71B trainer model. It differed from the standard SR-71As in that it had a second cockpit above and behind the standard cockpit. One of the SR-71Bs crashed 11 January 1968, leaving the one at the Air Zoo (SN 61-7956) the lone surviving example.
