View of the LR-105's turbomachinery. The turbopumps are mounted at top right, with the axis of the pumps parallel to the thrust chamber (most other engines of the time, such as the H-1 and S-3D mounted their turbopumps so that the axis of the pumps were perpendicular to the thrust chamber).

It would appear that the LOX pump is mounted on top. The liquid-propellant gas generator (with its solid-propellant gas generator, or "spinner") is mounted at right, discharging into the turbine (the darker grey component). The heat exchanger is below the turbine (the bellows at the bottom of this photo).
