Corsair (East Campus)

During my first few visits to the Air Zoo, the East Campus building contained many World War II aircraft, including a selection of Navy planes. The Corsair was nestled in the naval aviation exhibit with its wings folded.

This particular Corsair is an FG-1D, indicating that it was manufactured by Goodyear Aircraft Corporation.

This plane has subsequently been moved to the expanded Main Campus building.
